G-15 Lenses

The U.S. Air Force engineered G-15 technology for use in aviator lenses during the 1950s. Through extensive experimentation with the light spectrum, it was found that the transmission of green and yellow light – the two colors best perceived by the human eye – could be maximized. The outcome is a neutral and true-to-life perspective that results in a noticeable cooling sensation for the eyes. Edge Eyewear is the first company ever to offer safety-rated G-15 lenses.

Edge Tactical Eyewear's G-15 lenses are available in several frame styles. All Edge glasses block 99.9% of UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation and are Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12 rated. All styles meet the ANSI Z87.1+2010 standard.

The G-15 lens can be found in the Overlord Kit, Hamel, Acid Gambit, Blade Runner, Blade Runner XL, Falcon, Sharp Edge, Notch, Fastlink, Dragon Fire, and Blizzard goggles.

Falcon

The Falcon’s traditional wrap around frame style is perfect for operators who want tighter, smaller eyewear that still looks great and provides the maximum level of eye protection. Its flexible and durable rubberized matte black frame is equipped with soft thermoplastic rubber nose pads and temple arms to create a comfortable, nonslip fit. Thin temple Falcon frames are also available – they provide comfort and functionality when worn with a helmet or ear pro and keep a sealed fit with noise reduction headsets.
